WVU Women’s Basketball to Appear on FOX

IRVING, Texas – The Big 12 Conference and FOX Sports Media Group networks have announced the 2013-14 women’s basketball games chosen to air live nationally with West Virginia appearing four times in the league’s 26 total appearances.
Nineteen regular-season games and seven Phillips 66 Big 12 Women’s Basketball Championship matchups are included in the package. Twelve games will be televised on the new FOX Sports 1 (FS1) national network. The remaining matchups are schedule on FOX Sports regional networks (FSN).
Three of the four dates set are road games for the Mountaineers, starting with a 7 p.m. tip at Oklahoma State on Saturday, January 4 on FS1. WVU will face Texas at noon in the WVU Coliseum on Sunday, January 12, live on FOX Sports Net.
WVU’s 7 p.m. matchup at Oklahoma on Thursday, February 13 and its 2 p.m. game at Baylor on Sunday, March 2 will each air live on FS1.
The postseason championship quarterfinal games will be aired by FSN for the 13th consecutive year, while the semifinals and final will make their first national appearance on FS1. The final three games have appeared on FOX networks every year since the inception of the conference in 1996-97.
