WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The West Virginia women’s soccer team resumes NCAA Championship play with a second-round match against 14th-ranked Wake Forest on Sunday, Nov. 15, in Winston-Salem, N.C. Kickoff at W. Dennie Spry Stadium is scheduled for 1 p.m.

Wake Forest is serving as one of 16 host schools for the first and second rounds of the national tournament. Tomorrow’s match marks the eighth-straight contest away from Morgantown for the Mountaineers – a program record.

The Mountaineers defeated Loyola University Maryland, 2-0, to advance to the NCAA second round for the seventh time in 10 years. The Demon Deacons posted a 2-0 win over Kennesaw State in NCAA first-round action.

West Virginia owns a record of 10-6-6 on the season, while Wake Forest sports a record of 14-5-2. The Mountaineers have participated in the last 10 NCAA tournaments, while the Demon Deacons have competed in 14-straight NCAA tournaments.
