Football: Syracuse to Air on ESPNU

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University’s football game with Syracuse on Saturday, Oct. 11, at Mountaineer Field at Milan Puskar Stadium, will kickoff at Noon and will be televised nationally by ESPNU.
A limited amount of returned tickets from Syracuse are now on sale at the Mountaineer Ticket Office. Those tickets can be purchased for $45 each at the Coliseum Ticket Office or by calling 1-800-WVU GAME.
The Mountaineers (2-2) open up the BIG EAST Conference portion of its schedule this Saturday, Oct. 4, when they welcome Rutgers to Morgantown. The game is scheduled to kickoff at Noon and will be televised by the BIG EAST Network as its game of the week.
The Rutgers game can be seen around the area on WCHS-TV (Charleston), WVFX (Clarksburg), WOAY (Beckley), WTAP (Parkersburg), WTOV (Wheeling), WPCW (Pittsburgh, Pa.) and WJAL (Chambersburg, Pa.).
The 18th annual WVU Sports Hall of Fame induction will be held on Saturday, Oct. 4, at the Caperton Indoor Facility beginning at 9:30 a.m. The 2008 class includes Eddie Bartrug (FB/P-HB), Bob Gresham (FB/RB), Roy Lester (FB-E/BB-C/Base-OF), Lowes Moore (BB/G), Dr. Martin Pushkin (T&F, CC - Coach) and James M. Sottile (BB/F).
