AUSTIN, Texas – The No. 3 seed West Virginia University women's basketball team defeated the 14th seeded Lamar Lady Cardinals by a score of 58-43 in the first round of the 2010 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament at the Frank Erwin Center on the campus of Texas.
